FLEXOMASTIC FLEXSEAL
FlexSeal is liquid weatherproofing for exterior chimneys made out of wood, brick, cement or CBS Block. FlexSeal is the first step in repairing chimney cracks or replacement of a chimney crown. FlexSeal is a breathable film that resists the corrosive effects of salt air, acid rain, atmosphere pollution and chimney smoke. FlexSeal is resistant to deterioration caused by constant exposure to ultraviolet rays because it is absorbed directly into the chimney's substrate allowing it to protect from the inside. FlexSeal will bond directly to damp surfaces.
Where to use:
- To prepare crown for repair
- Side-top-tuck as weatherproofing
- Apply FlexGlass as a sealant/primer on most substrates
- Weatherproofing coating to bring back the new brick look of chimney
Direction on use:
1. Make sure substrate is clean
2. Lay down a tarp as precaution to avoid over spraying
3. Use an airless pump spray or brush to apply FlexSeal
4. Use approximately one gallon of FlexSeal per 100 square feet
5. Generously coat area being repaired
6. Allow approximately three minutes to absorb into substrate prior to applying FlexCrown or FlexFlash
FLEXOMASTIC FLEXFLASH
FlexFlash is a weatherproofing coating composed of a thick mastic consistency used primarily to waterproof exterior chimney flashing and to replace or repair original asphalt bull. When FlexFlash is used in conjunction with FlexGlass fiberglass membrane, water intrusion into your chimney is eliminated. FlexFlash is manufactured with environmentally safe ingredients thus eliminating the use of high VOC emitting asphalts that are dangerous to both your health and the environment. FlexFlash stands up to hurricane force winds and extreme winters. The dry coating is completely washable and highly resistant to abrasion.
Where to use:
- Along flash edge of chimney and roof
- Repair cracks on tucking edge of chimney
- To repair or attach flange on skylights
- Stepping cracks along chimney exterior
Direction for use:
1. Make sure surface is clean and non-chalky. Use a wire b rush or soap and water if necessary
2. Spray FlexSeal on cleaned area as a primer for all Flexomastic products
3. Wrap FlexGlass fiberglass membrane around flashing a liberal coat of FlexFlash and a standard bristle brush
4. Allow a short time to dry
5. Apply a heavy coat of FlexFlash until the FlexGlass is no longer visible
6. Dries to touch in a few hours and fully dries and is paintable in 24 hours
FLEOMASTIC FLEXCROWN
FlexCrown is composed of copolymer vinyl resin compound designed specifically for chimney crowns that has an elongation factor of no less than 120% and stays flexible under serious weather conditions. FlexCrown needs no special additives or mixing and can easily applied using only a spatula. FlexCrown gives you the ability to rebuild a chimney crown that; is stronger than the original, will hold up better against the elements, and is easier to maintain. FlexCrown is used in conjunction with FlexSeal weatherproofing, making it the ideal solution for repairing chimney crowns.
Where to use:
- Replace the chimney crown
- Repair the chimney along the flue to the crown
- Repair damage bricks or cracked flue
Direction on use:
1. Clean surface using wire brush and soap and water if necessary
2. Spray FlexSeal on freshly cleaned area
3. Apply FlexCrown to area no less than 1/4 inch thick using a flexible applicator
4. Use a damp paintbrush to smooth out the new crown coating
5. FlexCrown is fully dry and paintable within 24 hours
FLEXOMASTIC FLEXCAULK
FlexCaulk is a perfect waterproofing adhesive for cracks or tucking and can replace most exterior mortar repairs. FlexCaulk can be used to seal or attach same or different substrates such as concrete, brick, wood, metal, glass and most plastics. FlexCaulk eliminates the use of high VOC emitting asphalts or the process of using cements mixes which can be dangerous to your health and the environment. FlexCaulk is perfect to your health and the environment. FlexCaulk is perfect for tucking between bricks and its mortar color and high elasticity make it ideal for most all applications.

- Edge of chimney and wall
- Edge of chimeny and shingles
- To fill in spacing under flashing
- On shingles to repair leaks
- Repair or install flashing for skylights
FLEXOMASTIC FLEXGLASS
FlexGlass is a multi-woven mesh that seamlessly strengthens the Flexomastic FlexSeal or FlexFlash and embeds to create a monolithic flashing along the base of the chimney. FlexGlass is a firmly bonded fiberglass material that is used for coverage of cracks or holes in cement, metal, masonry surfaces, wood, tile and canvas.
If extra reinforcement is necessary, just add a second layer of Flexomastic FlexGlass.
